In Monitum News

The Southpoint project gave Monitum and their client the opportunity to work in partnership to provide a 4d monitoring solution.  Combining solid knowledge of their technical experience in the latest advancement in technology to solve a complicated construction challenge.

The 4D monitoring system developed in conjunction with their client’s requirements uses multiple robotic instruments and sensors to feed real time data for all stakeholders. This solution has allowed Monitum’s client to demonstrate greater corporate responsibility in terms of managing the risk of damage or deformation of neighbouring assets. It also maximise their efficiency by having minimal interruptions to their construction program.

The combination of both survey and geotechnical instrumentation including vibration, tilt and displacement was expertly installed by Monitum. This allowed the work to continue without manual intervention for a period of 18 months.

Monitum were approached by the Australian Construction National Review (ANCR) publication to write about Monitum’s 4D Monitoring solution for their upcoming April 2015 publication found on page 22 under Special Focus.

The article commences by saying “Recognised for their specialised knowledge across the entire development life cycle, Monitum’s unique innovation includes services such as titling, design surveys and building construction in addition to latest innovation in 3D laser scanning, automated monitoring and Building Information Modelling (BIM) data management.
